Waiting time’s over

July 21st, 00:01: after a great countdown in one of our local bookshops, we could buy the final Harry Potter. It took me 2 days to read it and I loved it. Every day I still read bits and pieces, scenes that I especially liked, that make me cry, make me laugh, make me shiver, make me angry…

I wondered several times how it is possible to be such a huge fan of the series being grown up and having started the series when I was deep in my 20s. Well, next to the fact that I like the adventure in it and the whole story, the characters, the settings, I especially love the way it makes me feel: I really get a whole panache of feelings when I read the books, they allow me to escape reality and for a while feel in another world that seems more interesting than ours. Obviously, it’s not safer than ours, but still so great. Anyway, I’ll just miss the expectation of a new book, right now, I’m just enjoying the fan sites, reading analyses, reading the author’s comments and additions. The world of Harry Potter is still full of mistery and open questions.

But waiting time for the last chapter is over.

And… waiting time for my holidays is over too… or at least it will be by the end of the day. We will travel to the Alps on Monday. I’m looking forward to leaving and being far away from my stressy life, job and neighbours…

Waiting time’s over and I love it!
